One of the greatest gifts she gave me

as an educator and mentor was permission to fail without fear of failure. This gave me the opportunity to figure out who I was and am as a professional without sounding like a walking textbook. With her guidance, I was able to find my voice and build a career that was meaningful to the clients I serve while being authentic to myself.
